Degrees offered

The Department of Communication and Journalism (COJO), part of the College of Arts and Sciences, offers a Communication B.A. and B.S., a Journalism B.A., minors in marketing communication and public relations, and a Communication M.A.

Programs and emphasis

Coursework spans interpersonal, intercultural, global, public, and media communication. Journalism and media courses include History of American Journalism, Media Writing, and Public Affairs/Government Reporting. The department offers the Larsh Bristol Photojournalism Fellowship and the Bobby Model Photojournalism Professorship, and graduate students have interned with Wyoming Athletics, the Biodiversity Institute, and the McNair Program.
