WDRB (channel 41) is a Fox-affiliated television station in Louisville, Kentucky. It is owned by Gray Media alongside NBC affiliate WAVE and dual CW/MyNetworkTV affiliate WBKI.
WDRB went on the air in February 1971 as the first independent television station in the Louisville market. Cowles Communications sold the station to Block Communications of Toledo, Ohio, for $10 million in 1983. WDRB became a Fox affiliate on October 9, 1986. Block acquired Salem, Indiana-based WFTE (now WBKI) outright in 2001, forming Louisville's first television duopoly. WDRB launched its news department March 12, 1990. On August 1, 2025, Block Communications agreed to sell its television broadcast division, including WDRB and WBKI, to Gray Media for $80 million; the sale received FCC approval and closed May 6, 2026, putting WDRB under common ownership with Gray's existing Louisville station, WAVE.
