Colette Watson is a Canadian broadcasting executive who served as president of Rogers Sports & Media, the media division of Rogers Communications Inc., from January 2022 until her retirement, announced in April 2026 and effective May 15, 2026, after 35 years with the company. In the role, she oversaw roughly 2,800 to 3,500 employees and a portfolio including Citytv, CityNews, Sportsnet, Bravo, HGTV, Discovery, more than two dozen conventional and specialty TV channels, over 50 radio stations, streaming services and more than 60 community TV stations. She first joined Rogers in 1990 as the company's Ottawa bureau chief, rising to vice president of Rogers Television and later senior vice president of broadcast television and operations, a role in which she was involved in the launch of the Viceland channel with Vice Media. She left Rogers in 2020 to serve as president of the Cable Public Affairs Channel (CPAC), a not-for-profit, commercial-free specialty channel devoted to Canadian politics and public affairs, having also served as its president and general manager from 2001 to 2016, before rejoining Rogers as president of Rogers Sports & Media in January 2022. During her tenure she led Rogers Sports & Media's acquisition of Canadian trademark and licensing rights to Warner Bros. Discovery's unscripted brands and negotiated a 12-year, multi-billion-dollar renewal of Rogers' National Hockey League broadcast rights deal. She is a past recipient of the Trailblazer of the Year award from Canadian Women in Communications.
