Dana Walden is president and chief creative officer of The Walt Disney Company, leading Disney's entertainment segment, including its streaming, film, and television businesses and its rapidly expanding gaming and digital entertainment operations. She joined Disney in 2019 following its acquisition of 21st Century Fox, initially serving as chairman of Disney Television Studios and ABC Entertainment. In June 2022 she was named chairman of Disney General Entertainment Content, and in February 2023 she became co-chairman of Disney Entertainment, a role in which she oversaw Disney's global portfolio of entertainment, news, and content businesses, including ABC News, alongside streaming platforms Disney+ and Hulu. On February 3, 2026, Walden was named president and chief creative officer of The Walt Disney Company, moving into the role as Josh D'Amaro succeeded Bob Iger as CEO. Before joining Disney, Walden spent 25 years at 21st Century Fox, rising to chairman and CEO of Fox Television Group, where she oversaw Fox Broadcasting Company, 20th Century Fox Television, and Fox 21 Television Studios.
