Use of DataThe Urban Land Institute (ULI) founded in 1936 is a nonprofit research and advocacy group based in Washington, DC. ULI focuses on best practices in real estate development, housing, and transportation. It provides technical assistance in communities, hosts conferences, produces reports, collects industry benchmarks and guidance, and offers learning opportunities.
ULI has 52 District Councils (local chapters) in the Americas, as well as 7 National councils in Europe and Asia. The Institute's Product Councils are groups of senior industry leaders that facilitate learning and sharing.
