Use of DataThe UP Diliman University Archives is the official archival agency of the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD), the flagship campus of the University of the Philippines (UP) System. Established in 1974, the archives is located within Gonzalez Hall (the UPD Main Library) on the Diliman campus in Quezon City, Metro Manila. It preserves records of permanent historical, administrative, and evidential value generated by UPD and the broader UP System.

The University of the Philippines itself was founded in 1908 as the national university of the Philippines. The archives holds a nearly complete run of the Philippine Collegian, the oldest student publication in the Philippines (founded 1910), making it a key resource for the history of student journalism in the country. The index to Philippine newspapers maintained at UPD's library system is also a major resource for media history research.
The archives is open to researchers, officials, students, and the public. Materials are located on the upper floors of Gonzalez Hall. Researchers are required to follow established library rules and may access materials under supervised conditions.
