Saliksik: UP Diliman Journals Online is a free online service exclusively for the peer-reviewed academic journals published by the University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD). The platform aggregates all UPD journals in a single repository, widening their dissemination and visibility, and provides journal editors with editorial management tools. The platform is accessible at saliksik.upd.edu.ph.
The service was developed and is managed by the Research Dissemination and Utilization Office (RDUO) of the UPD Office of the Vice-Chancellor for Research and Development (OVCRD). The platform was formally launched in December 2025, replacing an earlier UP Diliman Journals Online service (journals.upd.edu.ph) with an updated system under the new Saliksik branding. It was announced by UP Diliman's official social media channels on December 12, 2025.
The platform hosts a growing collection of UPD's peer-reviewed academic journals, including:
Plaridel, hosted on the platform, is among the most important journals for communication and media studies in the Philippines and broader Southeast Asia. It publishes peer-reviewed research on journalism studies, media effects, political economy of media, and press history.
All journals on the platform are freely accessible online. The service is open to researchers, students, and the public worldwide.
