The University of Rajshahi Institutional Repository (RUCL Repository) is the open-access digital repository of the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh's second-oldest and third-largest university. Hosted by the Central Library of the University of Rajshahi (RUCL), the repository provides free access to the university's scholarly outputs including theses, dissertations, and research publications.
The Central Library of the University of Rajshahi (RUCL) was established in 1955 to support the higher studies and research programs of the university, which itself was founded in 1953. The library was relocated from its original location in the B.B. Hindu Academy and Barokuthi to its current premises in 1964. The institutional repository was developed as a digital extension of RUCL's mission, making the university's accumulated research accessible online at http://rulrepository.ru.ac.bd/.
The repository contains theses and dissertations from across the university's faculties, some dating back to the 1980s, as well as research publications from academic staff. Subjects span the humanities, social sciences, sciences, and professional fields. The repository is powered by DSpace and supports OAI-PMH harvesting.
The repository is freely accessible online. The Central Library also maintains broader library services including a rare books collection, atlases, electronic resources, and an online catalogue.
