The Universitas Padjadjaran Kandaga Repository (also referred to as the Unpad Repository) is the institutional digital repository of Universitas Padjadjaran (Unpad), a public research university established in Bandung on 11 September 1957. The repository was formally registered with the Registry of Open Access Repositories (ROAR) on 22 August 2011. It is managed by the university's central library — the Office of Knowledge Center, known as Kandaga — which itself has roots going back to the establishment of the university's central library by rectoral decree on 5 September 1974. The Kandaga library's main building is located at the Jatinangor campus, with additional facilities at the Dipatiukur campus in Bandung.
The repository provides an open-access collection of academic and scholarly works produced by the Universitas Padjadjaran community, including research reports, theses, dissertations, student papers, lecture papers, guidebooks, faculty decrees, journal articles, and e-archives. Collections are organized by faculty and graduate school, spanning Unpad's sixteen faculties and its School of Postgraduate Studies. The repository uses EPrints software and supports OAI-PMH for interoperability with national and international aggregators including Indonesia One Search.
All items in the repository are freely accessible online at repository.unpad.ac.id. Researchers and students can browse by faculty or use the full-text search interface. The library also maintains a broader Kandaga web portal at kandaga.unpad.ac.id for e-resources and additional library services. For self-upload (Unggah Mandiri) requests, authors follow institutional procedures through the repository portal.
