The TU Delft Repository is the institutional open-access repository of Delft University of Technology (Technische Universiteit Delft) in the Netherlands. The repository was registered in OpenDOAR (Directory of Open Access Repositories) as early as August 2006 and has been continuously expanded since. It is built on Islandora-based infrastructure and is undergoing redevelopment as part of TU Delft Library's Digital Service Programme.
The repository provides full-text open access to TU Delft's research output, including PhD theses, journal articles, conference papers, patents, speeches, and other publications. It holds over 52,000 publications and gives particular emphasis to PhD theses: TU Delft has made efforts to digitize doctoral theses from its first conferral in 1905, resulting in approximately 8,500 theses available in full text online. The repository is a contributor to NARCIS, the national Dutch platform for scientific research, which aggregates over 636,000 open-access publications, of which around 42,000 come from TU Delft.
The TU Delft Repository is freely accessible online. Users can search by keyword, author, subject, or browse by date and collection. Research data and datasets are managed separately via the 4TU.ResearchData platform. A Pure system provides additional information about ongoing research at TU Delft and researcher profiles.
