Use of DataThe Toronto Star founded in 1892 is a Canadian English-language daily broadsheet published in Toronto, Canada. It is owned by Toronto Star Newspapers Limited, a subsidiary of Torstar and Star Media Group. First established as the Evening Star, by 1900 it was renamed the Toronto Daily Star. It stayed the Daily Star until 1971, it changed to the Toronto Star. Jordan Bitove is publisher and Nicole MacIntyr is editor. It is a member of the Trust Project Network.
