TMZ

TMZ is a broadcast news program based in Los Angeles, California. Short for Thirty-Mile Zone, TMZ is a common industry reference to the area where La Cienega Boulevard and Beverly Boulevard intersect and the large amount of production studios in a 30-mile range from there. Originally created by Harry Levin in 2005 for AOL Time Warner, the corporation sold the AOL portion and TMZ along with it. Fox Entertainment currently owns TMZ. Harvey Leven remains executive editor.
