Overview

TIME Studios is the Emmy Award-winning television, film, audio and immersive production division of TIME, developing and distributing documentary, unscripted and scripted storytelling.

History

TIME Studios launched in early 2020. Within its first two years it generated more than $70 million in revenue, including approximately $50 million in 2021 alone, and sold more than 20 projects to streaming services and networks including Netflix, Amazon, Paramount+, HBO, Showtime, CBS, PBS, ABC, NBC, A&E and CNN Films. In November 2021, TIME Studios launched a Kids & Family programming arm and expanded its documentary division with an eight-figure production commitment.

Notable works

TIME Studios has earned more than 13 Emmy nominations with three wins to date, along with Peabody, Critics Choice, SXSW and Sundance recognition; its productions include "Jeen-yuhs" (Netflix), "Katrina Babies" (HBO), "Big Vape" (Netflix) and "The Solutionaries," a three-part documentary series produced with the Project Management Institute.
