TIME CO2

Overview

TIME CO2 is TIME's sustainability and climate-action division, publishing editorial content, a leadership newsletter and hosting events focused on business climate action.

History

TIME CO2 launched in 2022 to help businesses take measurable climate action through what the division calls Climate Action Portfolios. In April 2023, TIME CO2 launched the TIME CO2 Leadership Report, a newsletter by climate reporter Justin Worland, and announced the inaugural TIME CO2 Earth Awards, recognizing individuals influencing climate and sustainability leadership. In November 2023, TIME published the inaugural TIME100 Climate list of influential leaders driving business climate action, developed with experts from the TIME CO2 team.

Notable works

TIME CO2 co-hosted events with Women Leading on Climate and Columbia University at the UN Climate Change Pavilion during COP28, and launched TIME CO2 Futures, an editorial platform on climate action in business.
