Peter Y. Sussman is a retired reporter and editor. He was with the San Francisco Chronicle for 29 years. Sussman gained much attention and praise for co-authoring the 1993 book Committing Journalism: The Prison Writing of Red Hog, with Dannie “Red Hog” Martin. He is an avid amateur photographer.
