Stillwater, Oklahoma, USA
The Stillwater News Press is a newspaper serving Stillwater and Payne County, Oklahoma, owned by CNHI (Community Newspaper Holdings, Inc.). Beyond Stillwater, it covers Payne County communities including Cushing, Glencoe, Perkins, Ripley and Yale; Noble County's Morrison and Perry; Pawnee in Pawnee County; and Coyle in Logan County. As of May 2026, it publishes print editions Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
The paper's lineage traces to multiple early Stillwater titles including the Stillwater Gazette (founded 1889) and the Stillwater Advance. Attorney C.R. Bellatti, who had purchased the Stillwater Publishing Company's titles in March 1941, consolidated the Stillwater Daily News with the Stillwater Daily Press on November 10, 1941, forming the Stillwater Daily News-Press, the direct predecessor of today's paper.
