Journalism students build a portfolio of published work, in classes that include writing for the public and photojournalism

Students design a curriculum with their advisor that suits their interests and needs. Internships are an integral element of the Journalism Concentration, and students complete two internships that enable them to acquire practical, first-hand knowledge of the professional work of journalism and public writing.
