Christian Smith
Christian Smith is a Software Engineering Manager at the Library Innovation Lab at Harvard Law School. He discovered research through his open source work in cryptography, which led to academic collaboration and an engineering role at MIT. His interest in the intersection of technology and law began as a student at Berklee College of Music during the dotcom era, when file-sharing networks disrupted the music industry. At LIL, he focuses on empowering the engineering team, inventing breakthrough library tools, and improving access to justice.
