It serves as the primary public-facing platform through which the Department collects, compiles, and disseminates economic and socio-demographic statistics about Singapore.
The Singapore Department of Statistics has provided statistical services to the Singapore government since the early years of independence. The DOS develops and maintains the national statistical service and publishes authoritative data on Singapore's population, economy, trade, and society. The SingStat web portal has been archived by the Library of Congress since at least 2002.
The SingStat Table Builder provides access to over 2,200 data tables from more than 70 public sector agencies, comprising over 90,000 data series covering Singapore's economic and socio-demographic domains including population, trade, national accounts, business statistics, prices, and international accounts. The portal also offers the SingStat mobile app with over 300 interactive charts spanning 40 data categories.
