Sean (Sean Dagan) Wood is chief executive officer of Positive News, the UK-based magazine and website dedicated to constructive journalism about social and environmental progress. He joined Positive News as a freelance writer and editor before becoming editor-in-chief, leading the title's 2016 relaunch from a free newspaper into a reader-owned magazine funded through a crowdfunded community share offer; he moved into the CEO role in 2020. Wood co-founded the Constructive Journalism Project, which operated from 2014 to 2020 to help establish constructive and solutions journalism as a field of practice, and he has trained journalists and spoken internationally on media innovation, with his work featured by The Guardian, the BBC and The New York Times. He holds a degree in English and Creative Writing from Manchester Metropolitan University and is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (RSA).
