Beatrix Thorne "Trix" Sagendorph was an American artist and publisher who co-founded Yankee magazine with her husband, Robb Sagendorph, in Dublin, New Hampshire, in 1935. Born April 7, 1900, she provided illustrations and paintings for the magazine for decades, creating almost all of its cover artwork for roughly 30 years, most commonly black-and-white scratchboard depictions of New England scenes. According to Yankee Publishing, her artistic contributions were instrumental to the magazine's survival in its early years. The company she co-founded expanded in 1939 with the purchase of The Old Farmer's Almanac and remains headquartered in Dublin, New Hampshire, as Yankee Publishing. She died in April 1985.
