Biography

Rick Rogers is owner and publisher of Star Local Media, a group of 14 community newspapers serving the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex across Denton, Collin and Dallas counties, which he purchased with his wife, Elizabeth Rogers, in January 2022. He previously served as Chief Revenue Officer at TownNews.com, a content-management-system provider for newspapers, and brought 25 years of editorial, publishing and management experience from corporate roles at American Consolidated Media (ACM) and GateHouse Media in Missouri and Texas, including as regional director for ACM's Southwest operations. Under his ownership, Star Local Media has expanded its digital audience and launched new publications such as Check Out Celina.
