The Ridgewood News is a newspaper covering Ridgewood, New Jersey, owned by USA Today Co. (formerly Gannett) as part of North Jersey Media Group.
Serving the village since 1889, per the paper's own branding; Library of Congress cataloging traces an archive of the title back to 1891. Gannett acquired North Jersey Media Group, including The Ridgewood News, in July 2016 for $40 million. Following the acquisition, operations for The Ridgewood News and other Bergen County weeklies were consolidated into North Jersey Media Group's Woodland Park office.
