RePub is the institutional open-access repository of Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), providing free public access to the academic output of the university. The repository covers all faculties and research schools at EUR, making scholarly publications widely available in line with open-access principles.
RePub was formally established on 22 July 2002, making it one of the earlier institutional repositories in the Netherlands. Erasmus University Rotterdam itself was founded in 1913 as the Netherlands School of Commerce (Nederlandsche Handels-Hoogeschool), achieving university status in 1937 and merging with the Rotterdam Medical Faculty to become Erasmus University in 1973.
The repository provides access to publications from all schools and institutes within Erasmus University Rotterdam, including the Erasmus School of Economics, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus MC, Erasmus School of Law, Erasmus School of History, Culture and Communication, the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, the Erasmus School of Philosophy, and the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS). Holdings include journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, dissertations, and research reports. The repository includes works dating back to the early 20th century where historical output has been digitized.
RePub is freely accessible at repub.eur.nl. It supports OAI-PMH metadata harvesting and is listed in international open-access registries including OpenDOAR. Researchers affiliated with EUR may submit publications through the repository's submission portal.
