The Radboud Repository is the institutional open-access repository of Radboud University Nijmegen in the Netherlands. It aggregates and provides public access to the university's academic output, including journal articles, dissertations, book chapters, conference papers, and lectures.
The Radboud Repository was formally registered in open-access registries in 2008 and has developed continuously since. Radboud University itself was founded in 1923 as the Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen (Catholic University of Nijmegen), and all dissertations from the university's founding year onward have been digitized and added to the repository. From 2004 onward, all official academic publications from university staff are systematically added.
The repository holds a broad range of scholarly materials across all disciplines taught and researched at Radboud University, including arts, engineering, health and medicine, humanities, mathematics, science, social sciences, and technology. Holdings include journal articles, conference and workshop papers, theses and dissertations, reports, books and book chapters, and datasets. A separate Radboud Data Repository (RDR) was established for research data, and in November 2023 the Donders Repository (focused on cognitive neuroscience data) was merged into the RDR.
The Radboud Repository is freely accessible at repository.ubn.ru.nl. It supports OAI-PMH metadata harvesting, is indexed in OpenDOAR, and complies with open-access principles. Users may browse by author, document type, date, and subject.
