The company operates as a for-profit, publicly traded entity and is owned by Les Placements Péladeau inc, which is controlled by Pierre K. Péladeau. Quebecor employs more than 10,000 staff members. The current President and CEO is Pierre Karl Péladeau, with Hugues Simard as CFO and Martin Tremblay as COO. Quebecor owns various properties, including MAtv, Illico+, TVA Group Channels, TVA Group Magazines, and several news media outlets such as TVA Nouvelles and Le Journal de Montréal. The company has received awards like the ADISQ Music Initiative Award in 2021 and the Beast Creative Award at the Canadian Out-of-Home Awards in 2024.
