Biography

Lucy Purdy is editor-in-chief of Positive News, a quarterly magazine and website dedicated to constructive journalism, a role she has held since July 2016 after previously serving as the publication's associate editor. She holds responsibility for all journalism the outlet publishes in print and online, including its 84-page quarterly magazine and daily website coverage. She studied English and American Literature at Warwick University and earned an NCTJ Diploma in Journalism, then worked for local newspapers before freelancing for outlets including The Guardian, New Statesman, Orion Magazine, and EarthLines magazine, and working as an editor at 3Fox International Ltd on regeneration-focused magazine titles.
