Department of Journalism is one of the six departments of School of Communication Studies

The university has combined disciplines of arts sciences and other social sciences education, including journalism. The journalism program has liaisons with established media outlets. In 1985 its name was changed from Journalism Department to Mass Communication. The program offers B.S. and M.Phil degrees.
