Groundbreaking investigative journalism
ProPublica is a nonprofit investigative news organization reporting on abuses of power. It won the 2024 public service Pulitzer Prize for revealing how a group of billionaires secretly gave lavish gifts to Supreme Court justices, which forced the court to adopt its first ever code of conduct.
The newsroom’s 150 editorial staffers cover a wide range of topics, including government and politics, business, criminal justice, the environment, education, health care, immigration, and technology.
Since it began, ProPublica has received seven Pulitzer Prizes, five Peabody Awards, three Emmy Awards, seven George Polk Awards, and five Online News Association Awards for general excellence.
