Use of DataPrajavani is a Kannada-language broadsheet daily newspaper published in Karnataka, India. With a readership of an estimated two million, it is one of the major papers in the region.
Prajavani was founded in Bangalore by K.N. Guruswamy, who also launched the English-language Deccan Herald. The Printers (Mysore) Private Limited, the company which owns the newspaper, continues to be privately held by members of the founding family.
