Biography

Keith Pepper is publisher and owner of Rough Draft Atlanta, a hyperlocal media company he acquired in 2020, formerly known as Reporter Newspapers. The company publishes the Dunwoody Reporter, Sandy Springs Reporter, Buckhead Reporter, Brookhaven Reporter, Atlanta Intown, and Atlanta Senior Life. In December 2024, the company acquired the Georgia Voice, Atlanta's LGBTQ newspaper. Under Pepper's ownership, Rough Draft Atlanta transitioned from a traditional print newspaper chain into a digital-first media company, generating 27 percent of its revenue from digital advertising while maintaining print circulation; the company has also formed content partnerships with outlets including WSB-TV's Channel 2 Action News and the Georgia Recorder.
