The Open Data Portal (open-data.am) is an Armenian online portal operated by the Data Analysis Projects NGO, providing business, economic, statistical, and government e-services data related to Armenia. It aggregates open data on topics including exchange rates, commodity prices, government programs, and socioeconomic indicators.
The portal is part of Armenia's growing open data ecosystem, which gained momentum after the country joined the Open Government Partnership initiative in September 2011. Armenia's first OGP Action Plan was approved in April 2012 and included commitments to expand e-government tools and data access. The open-data.am portal is a product of the broader civil society and NGO-driven effort to aggregate and present publicly available Armenian government and economic data in one location.
The portal provides real-time and historical data on financial indicators (exchange rates, commodity prices, cryptocurrency values), government assistance programs, and business-relevant statistics. It also aggregates information from Day Business Armenia, investor and exporter resources, and links to cybersecurity-related government services. The portal is distinct from the Open Data Armenia project (opendata.am), which is affiliated with the Open Knowledge Foundation and focuses on cataloguing Armenian-language datasets.
The portal is freely accessible online at open-data.am and provides data without registration requirements. Contact is available via the listed email address.
