OneMap is Singapore's official national map platform, developed and maintained by the Singapore Land Authority (SLA). It serves as the authoritative geospatial portal for Singapore, providing the most detailed and up-to-date mapping and location-based information available for the island nation. Launched on 31 March 2010, it has since become the cornerstone of Singapore's National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI).
OneMap 1.0 was launched in 2010 as a web-based platform bringing together geospatial data from sixteen government agencies, with the aim of creating a spatially-enabled nation. Built on open-source platforms, it was the first product under the Singapore Geospatial Collaborative Environment (SG-SPACE) initiative. OneMap 2.0 launched in October 2014, bringing maps to mobile users and including a multi-mode journey planner. In December 2015, the One Historical Map feature was added, enabling users to compare Singapore's streetscape with historical maps dating back to 1966. The platform has continued to evolve through subsequent versions, with Version 4.0 currently active and Version 5.0 in development as of 2025.
OneMap provides street-level geospatial information, land ownership details, demographic data, and information on nearby amenities including schools, parks, healthcare facilities, and government services. Its open API allows developers to build location-based applications using government geospatial data. The historical map feature preserves visual records of Singapore's urban transformation. Barrier-Free Access (BFA) routing features assist wheelchair users and those with mobility needs.
OneMap is freely accessible via its web portal and mobile app (available on Android and iOS). Government agencies, businesses, and the general public use it for planning, research, navigation, and service delivery. Geospatial content in the OneMap Data Repository is available as a service for data consumption and analysis.
