Use of DataThe Center, founded in 2020, is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization of more than 25 indigenous- and black-owned media outlets, broadcast stations and newspapers. The center provides funding, best-practices training, and collaborative support to bolster local newsrooms. Their mission is to support and strengthen Oklahoma’s journalism ecosystem and spur innovation through statewide collaboration that benefits diverse audiences.
