Use of DataThe NTU Theses and Dissertations Repository (TDR), operated by National Taiwan University (NTU) Library, is the institutional repository for master's theses and doctoral dissertations produced at National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan. The platform provides permanent digital archiving and open access to the scholarly output of NTU graduate students, subject to author authorisation.
The repository collects information and full text of theses and dissertations submitted to NTU since 1963, according to the authorship authorization system. Graduate students completing master's or doctoral degrees are required to submit their electronic theses and dissertations to the repository. Since the second semester of Academic Year 109 (2020–2021), graduating graduate students may elect to authorise open access to the full text of their electronic theses through the submission system.
TDR holds the records and, where authorised, full-text electronic copies of NTU theses and dissertations spanning all disciplines offered at the university since 1963. The platform uses the open-source DSpace institutional repository system to manage and provide access to its collections. Each submission is assigned a persistent identifier for stable citation.
The repository is freely accessible online at tdr.lib.ntu.edu.tw. Browse and search functions allow users to locate records by author, title, and subject. Full-text access to individual theses depends on the author's chosen authorisation level, with many works made openly available. The platform supports both English and Chinese language interfaces.
