DR-NTU (Data) is the institutional open-access research data repository of Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore. Operated by NTU Library and the Centre for IT Services (CITS), it provides a dedicated platform for NTU researchers to deposit, publish, and archive the final research data generated from their projects, making data findable, accessible, and reusable.
DR-NTU (Data) was developed as a companion to the NTU publications repository, DR-NTU. Built on the open-source Harvard Dataverse platform, it was launched to support NTU's commitment to responsible data sharing and open science. The repository has been certified as a Trustworthy Data Repository by the CoreTrustSeal Standards and Certification Board, reflecting its adherence to international standards for long-term data preservation.
The repository accepts final, non-sensitive research data from projects carried out by NTU faculty, research staff, and students. Data from a broad range of scientific disciplines is accepted, with the requirement that uploaded content does not infringe intellectual property rights and contains no identifiable personal information. The repository assigns Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) to datasets, facilitating citation and discovery.
DR-NTU (Data) is publicly accessible at researchdata.ntu.edu.sg. Deposit is restricted to NTU community members. The platform supports Singapore funders' requirements for open data sharing and promotes compliance with the FAIR data principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable).
