History

Launched in 1997 by Arkansas Business Publishing Group. Sold in 2004 to Gray Matters LLC (Darin and Tami Gray). In 2016, Natural State Media, the Fort Smith-based parent of Talk Business & Politics, acquired NWABJ from Gray Matters; Rob Gutteridge, NWABJ's publisher and CEO, became a co-owner of Natural State Media as part of the deal.
