At the graduate level, the department offers the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in communication

The Journalism Department offers majors and minors in communication, multimedia journalism, and strategic communication. The undergraduate communication program has emphases in interpersonal, intercultural, environmental, organizational, public, and media studies. The graduate program for M.A. and Ph.D degrees focus on the role of culture and change in communication.
