Overview

The New Hampshire Bulletin is a nonprofit news organization covering New Hampshire state government, politics and policy, operating as an affiliate of States Newsroom.

History

The Bulletin launched April 14, 2021, as the 22nd outlet in the States Newsroom network, founded by Chris Fitzsimon, who previously led North Carolina's NC Policy Watch. Veteran New Hampshire journalist Dana Wormald, who began his career at the Concord Monitor in 1995 and later spent more than a decade at the New Hampshire Union Leader, was named editor.

Notable works

Reporter William Skipworth won the Collier Prize's Spotlight award and was named New Hampshire Press Association Journalist of the Year for "A System of Harm," a three-part investigation into abuse and neglect within the state's intellectual and developmental disability care system, which prompted a state investigation.
