Nash Holdings LLC is a private investment company headquartered in Washington, D.C., that owns The Washington Post.
Nash Holdings is wholly owned by Jeff Bezos, founder of Amazon. It is operated separately from Amazon, in which Bezos is executive chairman and the largest single shareholder.
Bezos purchased The Washington Post from the Graham family for $250 million in 2013, ending the family's 80-year ownership; the transaction transferred the newspaper to Nash Holdings, while the Post's former parent company was renamed Graham Holdings. In February 2026, publisher Will Lewis stepped down and was replaced on an interim basis by then-CFO Jeff D'Onofrio; that same month, the Post eliminated more than 300 newsroom positions, about 30 percent of its staff.
