MYCOAST (Malaysia Coastal, Oceanography and Hydraulic Marine Geospatial Data Management System) is an online geospatial data management platform operated by the National Water Research Institute of Malaysia (Institut Penyelidikan Air Kebangsaan Malaysia, NAHRIM), a body under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability. MYCOAST provides access to marine, coastal, and oceanographic data including sea level, wave, current, hydrodynamic, and bathymetric datasets relevant to Malaysian coastal zones.

Background and Purpose

NAHRIM developed MYCOAST to centralize and disseminate research data generated through its coastal and marine research programs.
