Biography

Michael Thrasher is founder and editor of Modus News, a weekly independent newsletter covering the family-office sector, which he launched after more than a decade covering wealth and asset management as a journalist. Before starting Modus, he was a reporter at Institutional Investor magazine and has also written for Business Insider; earlier in his career he covered crime and local government for a daily newspaper in Ohio. Thrasher holds a degree from Ohio University.
