McLean Communications is a Manchester, New Hampshire media and custom-publishing company.
McLean Communications is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yankee Publishing, Inc. (YPI) of Dublin, New Hampshire, publisher of Yankee magazine and The Old Farmer's Almanac. YPI was founded by Robb and Beatrix Sagendorph in 1935 and was long family-owned; the company has since completed its transition from family ownership to full employee ownership through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and is now 100 percent employee-owned.
McLean Communications was previously owned by Independent Publications Inc. of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. Yankee Publishing acquired McLean Communications' assets in 2013.
