Biography

Beth McKibben is a food and dining journalist who serves as editor-in-chief and dining editor of Rough Draft Atlanta, the local news company behind Reporter Newspapers and Atlanta Intown. She joined Rough Draft in January 2024 as senior editor responsible for food and dining coverage after more than 13 years covering the food and beverage industry, both locally and nationally, including as a contributor to Atlanta magazine and as the cocktails and spirits writer for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. She spent a decade with Eater, first as a regular contributor and then, for six years, as editor of Eater Atlanta, a Vox Media publication, before joining Rough Draft. She has also served as a guest editor for the Forest Park issue of Canopy Atlanta, a local news nonprofit.
