Dafna Linzer is a Canadian-American investigative journalist. Currently, she is the chief political correspondent at Semafor. She was managing editor for politics at NBC News and MSNBC. She worked as Executive Director in 2022 for Politico. Previous to that, she was senior investigative reporter at ProPublica and a national security correspondent with the Washington Post.
She earned a BA in Political Science at McGill University and is considered an expert in investigative journalism, nationals security, and foreign affairs.
She is best known for her coverage of US political campaigns as well as reports on national security. She is a Pulitzer Prize finalist.
