The Khulna University of Engineering and Technology Institutional Repository is the primary DSpace-based digital repository of KUET, Bangladesh. It collects, preserves, and provides access to the university's theses, dissertations, research publications, and examination question papers.
KUET was originally established in 1967 as Khulna Engineering College under the University of Rajshahi. Development was halted during the 1971 Liberation War and academic activities resumed in 1974. The institution was elevated to university status and is currently one of Bangladesh's leading public universities for engineering and technology education.
The repository holds academic materials from KUET's faculties of Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and other departments, as well as Architecture and Urban and Regional Planning. Collections include undergraduate and postgraduate theses, research papers, and examination question banks. The repository was launched in November 2020 with support from the UGC HEQEP programme.
The repository is freely accessible online at dspace.kuet.ac.bd and is registered with both the Registry of Open Access Repositories (ROAR) and the Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR). Submissions are managed by the Central Library.
