The Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) DSpace (XMLUI) is an earlier interface of the institutional repository of KUET, Bangladesh. It provides access to the university's academic and research output, including theses, dissertations, and examination question papers.
KUET was originally established in 1967 as Khulna Engineering College under the University of Rajshahi. Development was suspended during the Bangladesh Liberation War (1971), and academic activities resumed in June 1974. The institution was later elevated to full university status. It is now one of Bangladesh's leading public technical universities.
The DSpace XMLUI interface hosts the central library's digital collections, including undergraduate and graduate examination question papers, theses, and research reports from departments including Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, Architecture, and Urban and Regional Planning. The repository was established with support from the University Grants Commission (UGC) HEQEP Sub-Project CPSF #435.
The XMLUI version is accessible at dspace.kuet.ac.bd/xmlui. A separate, primary DSpace instance is also available at dspace.kuet.ac.bd. The repository is registered with the Registry of Open Access Repositories (ROAR).
