The Kasetsart University Knowledge Repository (KUKR) is the institutional digital repository of Kasetsart University, Thailand's first agricultural university and one of the largest universities in the country. Operated by the Office of the University Library, KUKR provides open online access to the research output, theses, dissertations, and academic publications of Kasetsart University.
Kasetsart University was established on 2 February 1943 as Thailand's first institution dedicated to agricultural sciences, evolving from an earlier School of Sericulture founded in 1904. The university is based at its main Bangkhen Campus in Bangkok, with additional campuses in Kamphaeng Saen, Si Racha, and Sakon Nakhon Province. KUKR was established and is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 3.0 Thailand License, with the repository infrastructure provided as of 2015 by the Office of the University Library.
KUKR holds theses, dissertations, research reports, and faculty publications spanning Kasetsart University's broad academic disciplines: agriculture, agro-industry, engineering, fisheries, forestry, economics, social sciences, life sciences, and related fields. The university library is recognized as Thailand's first prototype eco-library and maintains one of the most complete academic databases in the country, with a particular emphasis on Thai and regional agricultural research.
KUKR is freely accessible online. The repository supports search and browse functions across its collections. Physical library services are available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Bangkhen Campus library.
