Biography

Tracy Johnson is director of journalism and programming at CBC Calgary, overseeing the public broadcaster's local news coverage and its expansion into underserved Alberta communities, including new bureaus in Medicine Hat, Red Deer and the Bow Valley. She previously served as CBC Calgary's managing editor and, before that, as executive producer of CBC's western digital business unit, following 15 years as a business reporter and producer for CBC across radio, television and online platforms.
