Jacksonville, Florida, USA
Jacksonville Daily Record (formerly the Financial News & Daily Record) is a weekly business, financial and legal newspaper covering Jacksonville, Florida, publishing on Thursdays in print and daily online at JaxDailyRecord.com. It is the official court newspaper of Duval County and the primary publisher of Duval County legal notices.
Founded in 1912. Publisher John McManus built the paper into a Jacksonville institution over three generations; his son-in-law James Bailey succeeded him, followed in 1974 by James Bailey Jr., who expanded into commercial printing and, in 1998, launched the Realty-Builder Connection. In January 2017, after 43 years leading Bailey Publishing & Communications, Bailey Jr. sold the Daily Record and Realty-Builder to Matt Walsh, owner of Sarasota-based Observer Media Group. Angie Campbell was named publisher in January 2022, the fifth publisher in the paper's history.
Weekly print reach of more than 15,000 and more than 65,000 weekly website visitors as of recent figures; ongoing coverage of Northeast Florida business, real estate, construction and law.
